No one Died at the Advanced Practitioners Retreat!

This May, in an effort to keep the YogaSlacker's collective fire burning bright, we hosted an "Advanced Practitioners Retreat" in Bend, OR.  Basically we put the word out to all the current YS teacher that we wanted to facilitate a weekend of total non-stop bad-assery.  Mountain biking, climbing, standing acrobatics, and lots and lots of slacking.  Focusing primarily on how to make the leap into longlining and highlining, the crew set up parallel 240' lines, and the next day rigged a 75' highline next to a beautiful waterfall.

We were all certainly a bit nervous, but in the end, everyone took some huge falls, and several of the team got some great walks.  Slacker Jeremy Hasty from Colorado Springs proved the man of the day when he did a full yoga sequence on the line!  It was inspiring to watch!

The action and effort of the long weekend was non-stop, leaving the crew battered, bruised, and beer-ready by the end of Sunday.  Luckily for us, not only is Bend one of the best outdoor playgrounds on the planet, it is also home to some of the best beer!    Can't wait till next year!
