The last leg

There was a time when driving 12 hours straight was considered a short stint behind the wheel. But i am getting too old for these shenanigans. At 4:30 pm yesterday i was in the middle of a 7 mile training run near Bend, Oregon. Now at 5 am, as Chelsey sleeps on my lap, i am desperately trying to make the last few miles to Santa Barbara.
