Our stay in NEw Zealand ended today, with a long flight back from Queenstown via Aukland, and then Los Angeles and finally Portland. We were lucky enough to be some of the first to try Air New Zealand's Economy Sky Couch - basically the seats turn into a mini semi-cramped couch. Wouldn't be much good for the likes of teammate Daniel (6'2"), but for Chelsey and I it was quite nice.
Good thing too, as our legs were sore and ankles a bit swollen from the 40 mile run that we completed only 12 hours before getting to the airport. Sometimes we don't really think through our plans....
The run however was marvelous, and I put together a short time lapse video of sorts, to highlight all the amazing scenery we traveled through. Enjoy.
